Saturday’s Photo Scavenger Hunt - Growth

The first thing that I thought of for this week’s theme “growth”, was a disgusting photo of a nasty growth that my brother had a few years back. It was the nastiest thing that I have ever seen. I decided I didn’t have the stomach for it, so instead, sort of twisted the theme to fit my photos to another form of the same word: growing. I was so excited the moment I found out that I had the miracle of life growing inside of me. This is a scanned image of the very first sonogram.

More Construction

I have not posted anything recently. I just cannot find the time to blog these days. I sound like a real broken record. We have been busy trying to get Jennifer’s room finished. Alan is building a lifted bed frame for her. She is very excited. I cannot believe that I have not taken any photos of the bed frame in progress. Perhaps I will do that today. I will spare the photos of me on the ladder painting the white border. A friend painted her name on the wall, and we think it turned out great. Here is a pic.

I Updated

I cannot believe that I have updated our family website twice in one month. Woohoo! This is a sad accomplishment, but it is an accomplishment all the same. I updated Halloween pages recently. Today I spent some time updating Jennifer’s birthday pages. You can visit them here

Saturday’s Photo Scavenger Hunt - Windows

This one was easy for me having taken these pictures in the past two days. Joshua has been exploring the house more, and has taken a real liking to the front window. Wish the poor blinds a ton of luck. It seems they have a tough journey ahead. The first two photos are of Joshua peeking out of the window when he heard a noise outside. We soon found our neighbor mowing his lawn. Note: it was 47 degrees outside on this particular day. Brrrrrr!

These two photos were taken a few days before the first two. Excuse the diaper shot. I swear, he normally has clothes on. :giggle: Joshua discovered the blinds today, and I had to get photos. heehee In the first pic, all you see is his little feet and legs peeking out from below the blinds. It was priceless. I went through the garage door and around to the front door to capture the last photo.
